How to diagnose and resolve leak issues with Trailcore Tray and Canopies

TCT - Trailcore Tray Canopy Leaking Troubleshooting and Repair Instructions

Step 1 of 6

Water test tray and canopy to confirm where the water ingress is occurring.

Note water can track along surfaces from one location to another so try and track this back to the source of the ingress.

If this is leaking from the top of the canopy or toolbox, this is likely to be an issue with one of the roof fasteners, or the roof join, follow this Knowby for repair.

Step 2 of 6

Ensure all there are no open holes in the T-Track, these should all have bolts in them.

Step 3 of 6

Ensure the perimeter seal is making contact all the way around the canopy.

Step 4 of 6

If water is tracking inside the T-Track, apply sealer in from the outside of the canopy.

Step 5 of 6

If water is tracking in beside the T-track apply sealer into the groove.

Step 6 of 6

Ensure there are no gaps or pin holes where the canopy meets the tray at the front.
