Water test tray and canopy to confirm where the water ingress is occurring.

Note water can track along surfaces from one location to another so try and track this back to the source of the ingress.

If this is leaking from the top of the canopy or toolbox, this is likely to be an issue with one of the roof fasteners, or the roof join, follow this Knowby for repair.

The Trailcore Canopy or Toolboxes are sealed to the tray using a closed cell sponge seal foam (Part number SS0915S) which follows an etch line in the plywood

Foam gaskets are installed in the T-Track

Summary of Seals and Gaskets Used:

  • PRT-008965 TrailCore Tray T-Track Gasket x 4

  • PRT-009810 TrailCore Tray Canopy Front Wall Foam Gasket x 2

  • PRT-009502 TrailCore Tray Front Wall Floor Gasket x 2

  • SS0915S Sponge Seal 9x15mm 10m
    (1 x 10m Roll)

Ensure all there are no open holes in the T-Track, these should all have bolts in them.

Ensure the perimeter seal is making contact all the way around the canopy.

The toolbox or canopy should be compressing down firmly on the seal. (this will have crush tubes preventing this from compressing down fully)

If water is tracking inside the T-Track, apply sealer in from the outside of the canopy.

Ensure there are no gaps or pin holes where the canopy meets the tray at the front.
