Retrofit BSM Mounts for MV Triton
1
Step 1 of 10

Ensure the ignition is off and the keys are not in the vehicle.

2
Step 2 of 10

Remove the plastic cover on the outer edge of the brackets on both sides using an Allen key. Discard M6 x 16 bolts and keep the plastic covers aside.

3
Step 3 of 10

Remove the two M6 bolts holding the sensor bracket in. You need to slightly pull on the head of the bolt when removing as the captive nut in the bracket can come loose.

4
Step 4 of 10

Remove the sensors and brackets then unclip the sensors from the brackets as shown. Please keep the bolts aside as they will be used to fit the new bracket in step 7. Do not disconnect the sensor from the wiring harness.

5
Step 5 of 10

Re fit both sensors to the new brackets as shown. Plug end is clearly noted

6
Step 6 of 10

Place the sensors and new brackets in the housing as shown

7
Step 7 of 10

Using the existing bolts that were removed in step 3 secure the sensor brackets into the housings as shown on both sides.

8
Step 8 of 10

The new covers are left and right handed. Easiest way to identify what one fits is the differing hole centres along the top and bottom as shown in this step.

9
Step 9 of 10

For the new covers using the newly supplied M6 x 20 bolts and loctite. Do not crank them up too tight as you then run the risk of cracking the cover.

10
Step 10 of 10

Job complete. The sensors are now at the correct factory angle.
