Installing Canopy Lock Blanking Plates

How to install Mk3 canopy lock blanking plates. Assembly part number: CANOPY-MK3LOCKBLANK

Parts Supplied:

1x SMP60B Black Sealer

3 x PRT-010449 Mk3 Lock Blanking Plate
(Powder Coated Black)

Step 2 of 5

Apply a generous bead of sealer to the blanking plate as shown.

Step 3 of 5

Insert the backing plate into the lock housing while pressing the plate against the lock to prevent smudging the glue.

Step 4 of 5

Once the lock plate is all the way in, press this in firmly so the glue spreads, then pull this towards you so this sticks to the canopy door. You can also clamp this in place temporarily for a firmer connection.

Step 5 of 5

The canopy lock blanking plate is now installed.
