Soft Seal
On the chassis rail, find the front set of holes and locate the top hole (shown)
"Drill through the top hole with a 10.5 mm drill bit.
Bolt the fold-down vice to the chassis with an M12 x 35 bolt.
Fit an M12 heavy washer and an M12 Nyloc nut onto the bolt.
Clamp the front of the fold-down vice to the box flange.
Tighten the M12 bolt to secure the fold-down vice to the chassis rail.
Measure from the front of the box to mark the hole positions for drilling.
Clamp the fold-down vice in position at your measured marks.
Drill out the holes with an 8.5 mm drill bit
Fit an M8 x 25 bolt, M8 flat washer and M8 Nyloc nut through each drilled hole.
Tighten the M8 bolts to secure the front of the fold-down vice to the box flange.
The fold-down vice is now fitted. Check that all bolts are tight and that the vice folds down and locks freely.
Spray the vice with soft seal.
Spray the vice with soft seal.
Fit the vice with two M12 x 35 bolts, two M12 heavy washers and two M12 Nyloc nuts.
Tighten the vice.
