Step 1 of 10

Setup

Find a clear large space to work.

Using four people (or a forklift) roll the TAIT stage frame stillage to the edge of the workspace

  • Rolling the stillage is a 4 person job

  • Assembling the frame is a 2 person job

Step 2 of 10

Grab First End Piece

Using two people, remove an end piece from the stillage and roll it away from the stillage

Attach First Brace to First End Piece

  • One person hold end piece upright

  • Second person grab a brace

  • Ensure end clamps are unlocked

  • Spread brace

  • Clip one clamp to bottom of end piece

  • Clip one clamp to top of end piece

Attach Second Brace to First End Piece

  • Grab another brace piece

  • Ensure end clamps are unlocked

  • Spread brace

  • Clip one clamp to bottom of end piece

  • Clip one clamp to top of end piece

Grab Second End Piece

Using two people, remove the second end piece and roll it to the open end of the frame

Attach Braces to Second End Piece

  • One person hold second end piece

  • Second person stand in between braces

  • Lift bottom braces and snap clamps onto bottom of end frame

  • Snap top brace clamps onto top of end frame

Note: Ensure all brace clamps are unlocked before starting

Set Height

On all four corners:

  • remove pin

  • raise leg to correct height

  • replace pin

Troubleshooting

If you are struggling to get the corner legs up, you can use a rubber mallet to loosen the pole.
