How to Assemble an M2 Rear Drawer

Step 1 of 20

Put 6203 bearings onto stainless bosses using center punch to wedge bearing into place. Note all rivets used on draw are sealed aluminium 6.5

Start by building the outer box. Place internal runners. Ensure cut off tags are at open end of draw before removing them

Place drawer mounting brackets x 4

Rivet internal corner supports x 2

Insert M6 x 16 zinc bolts and Nylock Nuts into internal runner and mounting brackets on both sides. ENSURE HEAD OF BOLT IS TO INSIDE FACE tighten both sides

Place m8 x 25 zinc bolt with small bearings 608-2RS in top of each runners and tighten. making sure they are put in upside down

Place lid inside the sides and rivet sides and rear

Flip box over

Put seal strip onto top of the open end of draw, riveting top and sides BE SURE TO RIVET SIDES FROM INSIDE OUT as shown in video

Place inner on top of outer box and put m8 x 25 zinc with small bearings facing down into top of the back end

Put outer runners outside of the box using m6 x 12 zinc bolts with heads facing outside of the box. making sure m12 hole lines up, fix m10 x 20 bolt, bearing and boss to back end of draw use blue locktite on m10 stainless bolts

Place rubber stopper to runners on both sides with m5 x 16 stainless bolts with zinc nylocks making sure not to tighten too tight or it will pierce through the rubber

Slide runner support bracket into runner, making sure to rivet bottom and sides

Fit the back panel, rivet sides and bottom

Place m6 x 12 zinc bolts into top side of back panel and Tighten side runner bearing an bolts

Fit drawer internal to outer box

Fit inner drawer front panel and rivet into place

Using a pair of pliers, or something similar as a spacer under inner draw, Fit front bearings to outer box be sure to to use blue locktite on m10 x 20 stainless bolts

Check what else is to go with the order and place inside drawer.
