Drive the vehicle onto the hoist, making sure the wheels are in the middle of the beams

Raise the hoist by pushing the button labelled "Raise"

When at desired height, drop the hoist onto the safety locks by pressing this lever down until the hoist stops on the locks.

To lower the hoist,  you have to raise a little to lift of the safety locks and then press both levers down at once to prevent the safety locks stopping it from lowering
