How to centre a Gearforce Hard Lid on the Tub

Due to manufacturing tolerances in vehicle tub, slotted mounting holes have been incorporated Gearforce Lid mounting system design to allow side-to-side adjustment of the Gearforce Lid during installation.

<p>This will loosen the clamp allowing the hinge to slide along the elongated hole.</p>

<p>Using 2 people, slightly lift the lid so it isn't resting on the seals, then pull this in the direction required.</p><p></p><blockquote><p>If the there is too much friction on the lid not allowing it to slide, release the vertical locator pin on the hinge also.</p></blockquote><p></p>
