Pull the clutch lever, feel for enough clutch engagement, not a lot of free-play on the cable If the cable is too loose then adjust it at the base of the clutch lever, A little free-play is good

Pull the right lever which engage the front brake You shoukd feel good tension, push the bike forward to observe the brakes working well If the lever goes all the way to the handle bar the brakes might not work fully The front brake should get adjusted via the bleeding valve at the brake caliper

Push the rear brake pedal down and move the bike forward or backward to feel good brake engagement If its not working correct, adjust the rear brake at the brake pads adjuster

To adjust the rear brake, turn the nut inwards, It will move the brake shoes closer to the brake drum There must be free roll of the wheel when brake is not engaged, The foot should have to put a little pressure on the pedal to engage the rear brakes

Ensure there is no built-up mud or dirt in the front sproket area, hose it off if needed

Check the rear sprocket is clean around the bearings, free from mud, plastic, reel twine or even grass

Check this clutch area is free of mud and lubricated

Check the chain tension is correct, 2 fingers movement only when a rider sit on the bike Adjust the chain tension if its too tight or too loose

Check the condition of the fork rubber protection, These keep dust and mud off the fork seals

Check the oil level, Top up with the correct oil to the full level on the dip-stick.

Ensure the side stand gear-safety switch is clean and lubricated This keep the rider safe from accidentally putting the bike in gear while the stand is still out,

Ensure the front of the engine block area is free from mud, as the air cooled engine will not cool when mud sticks to the front A seized engine will be in-evitable

Ensure the spark plug area is clean, otherwise the bike may have trouble starting

Ensure the front brake caliper is clean and observe the condition of the brake pads

If the chain is too tight or too loose, adjust by loosening the rear nuts on either side of the swing arms, loosen the rear axle bolt, Then pull the rear wheel backwards by turning the nuts at the back of the swing arms inward, the chain will tighten, Then lock the rear axle bolts and the nuts

Ensure the headlight is working
