Welcome to the Cloudy Bay BYD.
This is a ATTO 3. It is a fully electric car. We are going to show you how to charge and use the common controls of this vehicle.
STKY Risks
The STKY risks for an electric car like this are similar to those of an ICE vehicle.
Two differences you should know:
At low speeds pedestrians can struggle to hear them. In parking lots and at slow speeds children and older persons in particular may not realise you are there. Be ready to stop.
It runs on electricity. Check that the charging lead is undamaged and has a current test tag attached.
The charging lead can be found in the boot. Open the vehicle, remove the lead. GO to the charging port (drivers front side). Plug the fat end of the lead into the car and the thin end into the charger. Lock the vehicle. Check on the dash that the vehicle is charging.
To remove the lead either to stop charging or once charging has finished, unlock the car and remove the plug from the vehicle first, then remove the plug from the charger. Don't forget to plug the dust cap back into the car charging port.
