Creating the Quote

There are two way to create a quote in unleashed. 

The first and preferred way is to go through 'View Customer', open the customer, and then 'Add Quote'.

The second way is to go to the navigational panel, and then go 'Sales', 'Quotes', 'Add Quote', and then just input the customer after that. 

The first way is preferred because it means that you can check if the customer has been doubled up, or if there are two customers with the same name. 

It is also easier to add a new customer from the 'View Customers' page rather than the 'Quote' page.

Add Quote

Click on the 'Add Quote' button in the top right area to add a new quote.

Enter Products

Enter the products that the customer requires.

Enter the quantity of that product that the customer requires.

Enter the price that you quoted the customer excluding GST.

Then click 'Add' to add that product to the quote.

Repeat this step as many times as needed.

Double Check

Double check that the the sales order group and sales order template are correct.

This should have been saved when the customer was first setup, but it is good practice to always check this in case they buy both gas and tyres.

Print Quote

To get a download of the quote, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and click on the 'Print' box.

This should download a printable PDF.

Printing the quote also saves it.

Open the PDF and print it.
