VW AMAROK DUAL CAB UTE (2011 on) IRB 84 - FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: The Internal ROPS in this vehicle is compatible with SRS Airbags, when fitted according to these Fitting Instructions.

Step 1 of 10
- Mark position of holes as shown, both sides of vehicle.
- Push Skewer through Hood Lining to locate existing rear Ø12mm hole in metal cant rail.

- Pilot drill front hole through Hood Lining and metal Cant Rail, then enlarge to Ø20mm.

- Remove Skewer from rear position and drill Hood lining only with Ø20mm Hole saw.

- Fit 40mm Spacer Tubes, Insert Plate and Cover Plate.
- Fit and tighten M10 x 60 But. Set Screw, Star Washer and Flat Washer in rear hole.

- Position IRB in vehicle, behind the front seats with top cleats facing rearwards.
- Fit “Z” Brackets to IRB and rearmost hole in Threaded Insert Plate.

- Position Base Plates as shown (both sides of vehicle).
- Pilot drill holes through floor, then enlarge to Ø10mm.
- Remove all drill swarf from vehicle, then fit M10 x 50 But. Set Screw and Flat Washers through holes.

- Seal around holes, underside of floor with Silicone Sealant.
- Fit Under- Floor Plates, Flat Washers, and Nyloc Nuts then tighten firmly.

Step 8 of 10
- Tighten all IRB top fasteners firmly.
- Fit “Z” Bracket Padded Covers and secure firmly.

- Fit Seat Position WARNING STICKER below Audio Control Panel.
- Fill out the Certificate of Compliance Form/Checklist and give to Vehicle Owner.
