Setup

 

Requirements

  • Two People

 

Equipment

  • Wentex Pipe & Drape Trolley

  • Hex Key Wrench

  • 2x Sandbags (Minimum)

 

PPE

  • Steel Cap Boots

  • Hi-Vis Vest

Step 2 of 12

Position Trolley

Position the Wentex Pipe & Drape Trolley close to the required assembly location

Lock the wheels

Grab Base Plate and Pin

Grab a base plate and pin (orange pole) from the trolley

Take them to the required location

Note: The pin (orange pole) should have a bolt screwed on one end

Screw Pin to Base Plate

  • Remove the bolt from the pin

  • Position the bolt in the base plate

  • One person hold the bolt in place using the Hex Key

  • The other person screw the pin onto the bolt

Insert Upright

  • Grab upright from trolley

  • Slot upright onto pin

  • Loosen bottom screw until upright drops down onto base plate

  • Tighten screw

Repeat

Setup the second base and upright the same way as the first

  • Grab Base Plate and Pin

  • Screw Pin to Base Plate

  • Insert Upright

Insert First End of Drape Support Beam

  • Remove drape support beam from trolley

  • Angle pin to drop into an upright

  • Drop pin into top of the upright (you will feel a click when the pin is locked in place)

Note: You may need to slide the locking mechanism at the top of the upright so the pin can drop in

Insert Second End of Drape Support Beam

  • Loosen the screw on the support beam

  • Slide support beam to opposite upright

  • Drop pin into the upright

  • Tighten the screw on the support beam

Pro Tip: Adjusting Distance

If you need to adjust the distance between the two uprights:

  • Loosen the support beam screw

  • Slide one of the uprights closer or further away

  • Tighten the support beam screw

Attach Drape

Note: There is a ribbon on the drape that signifies the centre of the drape

  • Line up the drape centre with the support beam centre

  • Lift the drape up and over the support beam

  • Press down on the Velcro strip to attach

  • Move along the entire drape attaching it to the beam

  • Run your hands across the entire length to ensure it is securely fastened

Raise Uprights

With one person on either side, in unison:

  • Loosen screw on upright

  • Lift upright pole

  • Tighten screw on upright

Add Sandbags

Weigh down the base plates by adding sandbags to them
