Look for last year's Spur

2 bud spur the bottom cane with correct bud orientation, leaving the top cane for tying down.

First Bud facing down

Second Bud facing up

Select another good cane for a Backup.

Cut Off last year’s cane that was used for fruiting.

Cut off all unnecessary canes.

Leaving a 2 bud Spur with correct bud orientation with 2 Good Long canes.

Do the same to the other side of the vine.

Leaving a 2 bud spur with 2 Good long canes.

Cut off Last Years cane from where it was tied down.

<p>Note: Some blocks may not require the old Cane to be cut from the tie down wire, Ask your manager first.</p><p>Note: Once you have made the main cuts, the rest of the canes can be left there, the Klima will remove them. I made more cuts in this video to be able to show it more clearly.</p><p>Note: Sometimes you will need to leave a New 2 Bud spur in a good position if there wasn't one left last year.</p><p></p>
