So what we want to do is we want to move this chair as safely as possible to the other end of the room.

First thing to do, make sure there's nothing caught underneath the chair and you're not going to flip over anything.

And then guide the chair forward, you don't need to lift it. Make sure that you're doing the right thing by your back and your posture.

If something's in the way, stop, take time, move it out of the way, return the chair and push to the other end of the room.

From a safety point of view, push the back towards the wall.
