Stillage legs, long and short bars are stored near the loading zone.

Make sure everything is strapped and has stillage legs put in.

Add stillage legs where needed.

Place the long bars accorss the stillage to avoid damages to the product when strapping down the stillages onto the truck.

Make sure to use the right size stillage legs (bars) as the product to avoid wobbling of the stillages if loaded on top.

Long bars go on every Roller Door and Swing Door stillages to avoid damages to the product when strapped onto the truck.

Put your forklift tyne slippers on as the stillages will be loaded length wise. Extension jib is used for lifting 6 mtr channels or tophats when we cannot secure an Open Top container.

Keep track of every item that is being loaded using the job tracker and container load sheet.

Record the weight of every item in the container load sheet.
Slowly and carefully load the items in the container.

Stilages will be placed long ways on either side of the container by one forklift driver, while the other forklift driver loads the stillages into the container.

Try and get items as flush against the walls of the container as possible.

As shows in the photo, the long bars must be on either side of the stillages, because this will be loaded exactly onto the truck and this bar will avoid damages to the products when strapped down to the truck.

Continue to fill the container, until no more can go in, make sure to keep in mind the weight limit and the weight distribution.

Take photos on your phone to keep track of items, show what condition they are in and to show how the container is packed. This photos will be needed later to upload onto SharePoint. Container is now stuffed/ loaded. Take a final photo before starting the process of Closing the container.
