Pre fabricate bolt up gantry.

Remove CO2 pipework to create space.

Remove sercom detection panel.

Close off condenser water pipes and remove at the new valve area. Use blanks to secure valves as the valves are not lugged at this area.

Remove condenser pipes and set aside.

Install the pre-fabricated gantry in the required area.

Connect to the top of boiler 11 vertical stack with the crane service and hold firm.

Using the necessary fall prevention equipment, remove roof iron sheets to gain access to top stack brace and remove brace.

Disconnect boiler 11 vertical stack from the main CO2 manifold vertical stack at the butterfly valve.

Unscrew boiler 11 vertical stack from the condenser hood.

Raise the boiler 11 vertical stack approx. 150mm and use cross bracing to support the vertical stack. (do not rely solely on the crane)

Remove the hood from the condenser.

Release and raise the condenser using gantry rollers and endless chains.

Roll the gantry rollers to clear space and using the endless chains, lower the condenser to ground. Remove condenser from boiler room.

Connect endless chain system to flue gas transfer and tension. Cut off the flue gas transfer from the boiler with the plasma cutter or oxy acetylene. Lower to ground and remove from the boiler shed.

Utilize the space provided from the CO2 manifold removal to move the new components to the gantry area.

Use the gantry system to position the flue gas transfer and weld in place.

Use gantry system to raise new condenser and bolt in place.

Install new condenser hood.

Raise stack with crane and remove cross members. Carefully lower stack into position and secure with teks.

Bolt up horizontal transfer to main vertical stack at the butterfly valve.

Reconnect top brace and install roof iron.

Re-install condenser cooling water pipework.

Re-install sercom detection panel.

Re-install CO2 pipework.
