<p>Pivot ruts: There are pivots on a lot of farms so be aware in EVERY PADDOCK for ruts and drive slowly. Especially on bikes. Cross them straight on on a bike NOT on an angle.</p>

<p>Snakes are present on all Australian farms. They are more active in the warmer months. Avoid long grass and if you have to go into it do it with care and make lots of noise ( stomp as they pick up vibrations ) to alert a snake you are there. They are more scared of you!</p>
