The crane /clamp should be stowed in the 'Home' position, which is flush against the strapper line frame barrier.

With the reel horizontal on the pallet, manually open the scissor clamp to the width of the reel and position the clamps firmly against the reel.

Keep fingers clear of the pinch points.

Ensure pedestrian walkway is clear and safe before proceeding.

Maneouver the clamped reel across to the strapping unit.

<p>Move the reel into a vertical position and use the remote control to lower the reel onto the strapper deck or into position to replace a finished reel.</p>

Once the reel is in position or locked in position, lower the scissor clamp to release grab pressure and remove clamps.
