BYD Beacon Switch Installation

How to install the beacon switch to your BYD

Step 1 of 7

Begin by removing the two screws from the panel underneath the steering wheel. Remove the x2 panels like so.

Remove the seal and trims from the passengers footwell. Take the beacon harness and plug it into the vehicle loom labeled 'beacon'. Tuck the loom back in behind the floor mat over towards the center console.

Step 3 of 7

Remove the shown panel from the passengers footwell and feed the beacon harness through. It will then pop out the drivers footwell. Pull the harness through.

Step 4 of 7

Pull the harness up through the drives dash like so.

Step 5 of 7

Drill a 20mm hole in through the dash in the shown location. Screw the plastic nut off the back of the switch and feed harness through the nut. Feed the wires through the hole you have drilled and plug the wires into the switch like so. Do up the plastic nut.

Step 6 of 7

Push all of the panels back and fasten the x2 screws back in.

Your BYD beacon switch installation is now complete
