<p><strong>Parts Required</strong></p><p>TK LID.TETHER supplied for retro fit installation</p><p>The mounting bolt is stacked on the tether as follows:</p><p>M6 x 16mm Button Head bolt (with anti-seize)</p><p>1x SS M6 Washer</p><p>Tether loop (small end)</p><p>2x SS M6 Washers</p><p>M6 SS Nyloc Nut </p>

Parts Required

TK LID.TETHER supplied for retro fit installation

The mounting bolt is stacked on the tether as follows:

M6 x 16mm Button Head bolt (with anti-seize)

1x SS M6 Washer

Tether loop (small end)

2x SS M6 Washers

M6 SS Nyloc Nut

Tools Required

  • 6.0mm Drill (or bigger)

  • Drill Driver

  • 4mm Allen Key

  • 10mm Hex Socket and Ratched

  • Anti-Seize for bolt

Drill a 6mm Hole in the Lid

Screw up the lid tight

Position the drill approximately 25-30mm out from the centre of the lid toward the front of the tank.

Drill a 6mm hole for bolting on the small loop end

Remove the lid from the Tank

Remove any shavings from the drilling from the tank.

Bolt the Tether on to the Lid

Anti-seize will be already applied to the 6mm button head cap screw before screwing on the M6 Nyloc Nut

Use the 10mm Socket and 4mm hex key to screw on the Nyloc Nut. (nut located on the inside of the lid)

Tighten it up until snug then back it off so the Tether can spin freely on the lid.

Fix the Anchor on to the Frame

Remove the RHS M6 internal threaded star knob

Locate the thimble anchor over the M6 stud then replace the star knob back on, securing the inside of the thimble
