
General Notes
Read through the fitting instructions before installation of the accessory. Install the accessory following the fitting instructions. Failure to do so may cause damage to the vehicle or the accessory.
Ensure all recyclable discarded vehicle accessory components and packaging are recycled following local recycling regulations.
It is always recommended that this accessory is fitted by a qualified Kia Technician.
Safely store and protect any removed vehicle components.
Ensure all bare metal surfaces are protected using automotive bare metal primer and touch-up paint, or suitable automotive rust inhibitor.
Remove all metal swarf and dust from all vehicle surfaces if surface is used for accessory installation.

Check that all work practices comply with safety standards.
Please wear appropriate clothing and use safety equipment.
Cleaning Notes
Spray with a firm water spray to remove any loose dirt, then wash with water, detergent and a soft cloth/sponge
Do not use petroleum based solvents or abrasives
Step 1
Clean and dry both headlights and the surrounding areas
Tools Used
Clean, dry cloth
Step 2
• Trial fit the RHS Headlight Protector on the headlight by centrally locating the Headlight Protector over the headlight.
• Note the inner area of the headlight and vehicle body that corresponds to the top and bottom outer hole locations in the Headlight Protector.
• Mark all locations on the headlight with a non-permanent felt pen or pencil.
• Remove the RHS Headlight Protector.
Tools Used
- Non-permanent Felt Pen or Pencil
Step 3
• Clean the previously noted inner and outer hole locations on the headlight with the alcohol wipe provided. Allow to dry.
• Adhere an abrasion resistant tape to the cleaned top and bottom inner & outer hole
locations on the headlight lens.
• Retain the alcohol wipe for installation of the LHS part.
Step 4
Fit the Inner Metal Clip to the top of the
headlight at the previously noted top inner hole location as shown:
A. Hook it over the front fascia.
B. Press the clip down on to the headlight.
C. Secure it with masking tape

• Masking Tape
IMPORTANT
Ensure that the Metal Clip is positioned over the Abrasion Resistant Tape
and does not come into contact with the headlight lens.
Step 5
Fit the Outer Metal Clip to the top of the
headlight at the previously noted top inner hole location as shown:
A. Hook it over the front fascia.
B. Press the clip down on to the headlight.
C. Secure it with masking tape

IMPORTANT
Ensure that the Metal Clip is positioned over the Abrasion Resistant Tape
and does not come into contact with the headlight lens.
Step 6
Fit the Inner Metal Clip to the bottom of the headlight at the previously noted top inner hole location as shown:
A. Hook it over the front fascia.
B. Press the clip down on to the headlight.
C. Secure it with masking tape

IMPORTANT
Ensure that the Metal Clip is positioned over the Abrasion Resistant Tape
and does not come into contact with the headlight lens.
Step 7
Fit the Outer Metal Clip to the bottom of the headlight at the previously noted top inner hole location as shown:
A. Hook it over the front fascia.
B. Press the clip down on to the headlight.
C. Secure it with masking tape

IMPORTANT
Ensure that the Metal Clip is positioned over the Abrasion Resistant Tape
and does not come into contact with the headlight lens.
Step 8
• Secure the Headlight Protector to
the Outer Metal Clips using the Screws and Washers provided.
Remove the masking tapes from the Outer Metal Clips.

• Phillips Head Screwdriver
Step 9
• Apply firm inward pressure to the RHS Headlight Protector
and secure the Headlight Protector to the Inner Metal Clips
using the Screws and Washers provided.
Remove the masking tapes from the Inner Metal Clips.
Tools Used
• Phillips Head Screwdriver
Step 10
• Check and ensure the inner Screws are as close to the bottom of the
RHS Headlight Protector inner holes as possible.
Adjust if necessary.
• Repeat steps 1-10 for the LHS Headlight Protector.

• Repeat steps 1-10 for the LHS Headlight Protector.
