Remove First Bolt

Use the Allen key to remove the cover plate bolt on the side next to the bollard.

Important: This bolt must always be removed first to avoid risk of injury or uncontrolled movement.

Remove Second Bolt

Remove the cover plate bolt on the side opposite the bollard.

  • Place foot on pit cover plate

  • Use Allen key to remove bolt

Important: Foot must be on cover plate when unscrewing to stop it from opening

Open the Pit

Remove your foot and gently open the pit.

Remove Gap Cover

Take out the gap cover from the pit. Place it to the side for now.

Lower the Bollard

Safety Note: If resistance or abnormal movement occurs while lowering, stop immediately and report to your supervisor.

Connect the cordless drill to the internal bolt inside the pit.

Engage the drill in the FORWARD DIRECTION and steadily operate until the bollard is fully lowered.

Disengage the drill and disconnect it from the internal bolt.

Replace Gap Cover

Place the gap cover over the hole left after lowering the bollard.

Lower Pit Cover

Gently lower the pit cover.

Note: Keep hands clear when lowering to avoid pinching fingers.

Replace Second Bolts

Replace the bolts in the reverse order.

Start with the bolt on the side furthest from the gap cover plate.

Replace First Bolt

Replace the bolt next to the gap cover plate.
