Remove earth terminal from battery.

Tape canopy interconnect end of M2 harness to a piece of small plastic tube or wire to help feed harness up the side of vehicle chassis rail. Also tape any branches back to harness to avoid getting caught.

Feed harness down firewall & along chassis rail, make sure it goes above the fuel tank & exits rear of cab by fuel filler. Ensure its away from hot & moving parts.

Plug wires into canopy interconnect as per table in step 4, make sure white bung or the orange wire goes into pin 12 to make water tight, then install the green locking wedge.

Connect positive wire to spare battery post & cable tie wiring up away from moving & hot parts.

Connect earth to body earth on inner guard & cable tie out of way.

Connect the lock/unlock plug to the fuel flap wiring, tape the spare plug up & then roll excess wiring up & cable tie out of the way. You may have a different haness than this. If so, the lock/unlock pickup will be at the right hand rear chassis rail, see step below.

Remove the tail gate harness connector on drivers side chassis rail from the main Ranger harness and install the patch harness supplied, connect the 2x connections.

Mount canopy interconnect connector in headboard with supplied screws. (If you have a service canopy or Artemis wellside canopy, skip this step)

Remove door seal & sill protector/kick panel.

Pull up carpet & underlay to expose rubber grommet in footwell. Pop grommet out from underneath & feed interior harness branch through hole & push new grommet into hole. Ensure grommet is in correctly so it’s water tight.

Connect buzzer to buzzer harness & then to the interior harness.

(NOTE)

Buzzer is not connected/installed for Hardlid installations

Find wire labeled run start in behind passengers kick panel & crimp supplied crimp on, then push supplied plug onto crimp & plug into the ignition wire on interior harness.

Peel backing tape off buzzer & stick on flat surface out of the way, then cable tie up wiring to go behind kick panel.

Fold carpet back down & re install the kick panel/sill protector.

Put earth terminal back on battery and test lock, unlock (note, doors must be closed for this to work), canopy light operation on both the small urbane switch on the actual light and the pin switches, door ajar buzzer.
