Step 1 of 6

Ensure there is no load on the carriage, then detach the carriage from the machine by unscrewing the shackle. Ensure the shackle pin is screwed back into the shackle so it does not get lost.

Press the button in the centre of the ball lock pin, and remove the pin from it's hole.

Lift the flap at the end of the rail.

Gently slide the carriage off the end of the rail ensuring to support the carriage with both hands as it leaves the rail.

Close the flap. While pushing the button in the centre of the ball lock pin, reinsert pin back into it's hole, to secure the flap back into place.

Ensure the ball lock pin is secure by giving it a firm tug, the pin should stay in place.

Support and remove the rail with two people.
