Click the Uploads folder (the cloud icon).

Click "Add new" button or do the right-click on the empty space and select the "Upload files" button.

Browse your computer and select the .heic file you want to convert.
Canva will upload the HEIC file, recognizing it as an image. You will see its thumbnail appear in your Uploads library.

Once the image is fully uploaded, simply click its thumbnail to add it to your design canvas.
In the top right corner of the screen, click the Share button.

In the dropdown menu, select the Download option.
Under "File type," click the current format (likely PNG) to open the dropdown menu and select JPG from the list.
You can adjust the quality slider if you have a paid Canva Pro account. 80-90% is typically fine for most purposes.

Click the Download button.
Canva will prepare your file and prompt you to save the new .jpg version to your computer.
That's it! Your HEIC file has been saved as a universally compatible JPG.
