Suits the “DS” model RAM, with the shorter (5'7") tub length. Refer to different instructions for the longer (6'4") tub length.

Original fuel hose will look like this on vehicle

Trim this breather off the main assembly

Undo main hose clamp, 7mm socket

Small Breather Line: Remove Blue tab, push white tab down.

10mm socket to remove earth lead to the vehicle chassis.

Note: This is not re-fit

Removed fuel assembly looks like this

Cut pipes.

Keeping the 2 parts shown by the yellow arrows.

Trim little breather pipe like this

It will be re-used.

Trim off rest of small pipe - it is not needed.

Trim main pipe like this

Clean main pipe

It will be re-used.

Remove sticker and de burr sharp end

Identify the trimmed delivery pipe

TIP: use boiling water to heat end of hose. Makes it much easier to fit!

Test fit length. Trim fuel tank hose to suit.

Slide on original hose clamp, and insert pipe

Tighten hose clamps

Join and tighten small breather line

Zip hoses together. Trim zip tie

Should look like this when complete.
