Change the view mode

Choose between two ways to view a knowby — Scroll mode or Slide mode — depending on the content and how you like to work through a guide.

Knowby offers two view modes, so you can pick whichever suits the content and the task best:

Scroll mode — steps are stacked vertically, and you scroll down to move through them
Slide mode — steps sit side by side horizontally, and you move between them using the navigation bar at the bottom, or a swipe gesture on a trackpad

Step 2 of 3

In Slide mode, you see one step at a time — media on the left, text on the right. If a step includes a form, it appears below the media and text.

To complete the knowby in this mode, scroll to the last step and click Complete in the navigation bar.

Step 3 of 3

Scroll mode gives you a continuous flow, showing each step as you scroll down the page.

Media sits in a box at the top of each step, with the text below it — and if a step has a form, that appears below the text. Scroll using your mouse wheel, a trackpad gesture, or the scroll bar on the right.

To complete the knowby in this mode, scroll past the last step — you'll find a rating box with a Mark as Complete button to finish up.
