How to install or replace a Trailcore door

Step 1 of 6

Before removing the door, unplug and plugs and disconnect the gas struts.

Step 2 of 6

Undo the door hinge pins

Take care not to damage the service body, you may need a angle socket to undo the pin.

Step 3 of 6

Apply blue (medium strength) loctite thread locker to the thread of the hinge pins

Step 4 of 6

Install 4 hinge pins to the top hinge extrusion in the directions shown, for each door.

Step 5 of 6

While 2 people lift the door into place, 1 person will need to slide the pins along from the top and secure these in place using an impact driver.

Step 6 of 6

Once the door is installed, reconnect the gas struts, plug in the wiring and test and adjust the latches as required.
