Customer Requirements
When a customer comes in to ask for a price for new wheels, there are a list of questions you first ask him:
Do you want steel or alloy wheels?
What size rims do you want? E.g. 17”or 18”?
What is the Rego of your vehicle? (this enables you to get the exact model on Carjam)
Get the customers details, name, number and email address.
Vehicle Details
Next step is to input the vehicle details into one of the four below websites. Each website will have a vehicle search function where you can input the vehicle year, make, model and desired rim size to get a list of what they have available. This function will read something like ‘Search by Vehicle’ or ‘Fitment Guide’.
Tip: Select the ‘4 or more’ option. This will only show what the suppliers have in stock.

Showroom View / Hide Price
If customer is in front of you and wants to look at the options immediately, ensure you click on ‘Hide Price’ or ‘Showroom View’ up the top right side of the webpage. This will hide the pricing from the customer.
Customer Links
If the customer wishes to have the options emailed to them, just copy the link to the webpage once the vehicle details have been input and the wheel options brought up and put them on an email. Once the customer clicks on the links, the webpage for the wheel options available will come up for them. You can also include several links to tyre options to go with the wheels.
Follow Up
Follow up the customer. Give them a day or 2, to check out the options and then give them a call and see what styles of wheels and tyres you can give them prices on.
