• ensure all cups have been hung up.

• check all cows are off the platform

• cups should be sitting correctly on jetters as shown in the video.

• check the wash lines under the cups.

• ensure they are not off, if they are push them back together

use above head rope to stop the platform when the receiving can is over the centre grate allowing milk to drain

change the taps on the receiving can to allow the wash to go through

shut the vat tap to ensure no wash water enters the vat

walk into milking control area and turn the platform off

press stop the main board will ask you do you want to stop milking? yes =E

stop= no

press E

the main screen should say pre rinsing and the tub will automatically start filling with cold water

use the taps to remove and replace both filter socks while the cold rinse is going through.

Do not attempt this if the hot wash is going through

after the rinse the tub will fill with hot water automatically and start putting the wash through

while the hot water is going through the tub walk around the platform and ensure wash is going through all cups

the wash system has automatic chemical dosing systems so no need to add any chemicals

copies of the wash program can be found on the hot water cylinders

once the hot wash goes through disinfection will occur ensure this cycle begins and you are safe to leave the shed
