Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Gloves, Safety Glasses and Hearing Protection. If you don’t already have a pair of gloves, safety glasses and hearing protection, please see the store person.

QA Sheet. You will find a QA sheet at the machine, if there is no QA sheet there see the team leader or production. A QA sheet will need to be completed at the start, through out and at the end of the day.

Tools required. Drill, Rivet gun and Staple gun, pliers, scissors.

Using the drill, start with drilling three (or four) holes on both sides [depending on 3 or 4 sheet door] where the sheets/bottom rail are seamed together.

Add in your black wheel into the bottom rail [both sides].

Using the rivet gun, add pop rivets into the holes you drilled earlier.

Using your staple gun, loop the end of the braid around the start of the roller door, then staple, then staple the braid to the door. there should be a total of 6 staples, one in the loop and five on the door [same for both sides]

Using your staple gun, loop the end of the braid around the start of the roller door, then staple the braid to the door. There should be a total of 6 staples, one in the loop and five on the door [both sides].

Pull your braids to the end of the roller door. Make sure it is not twisted.

Loop the braid around the end of the roller door (make sure to move the rubber out of the way) then staple [both sides]

Holding the staple gun and the braid, staple the rest of the braid to the door, being careful not to staple on the seams. Stop stapling when you reach the first six staples.

We want this wavy pattern when finished.

Cut the tails of the braid for a nice finish.

Move the plastic back to help protect it.

Move the roller door towards the rolling team.
