<p>Unscrew cable clamps (5 screws) and mouse-proofing (2 screws)</p>

Unscrew tops of load bars - 8mm Allen key

Cut off black box

Unscrew and remove load cells

Take bolts, spacers, and washers off load cells - keep to the side

Cut off zip ties - pull leads through the load bars and remove springs

Tape the ferrules to stop them catching

Tip: Position 2 ferrules lower for a narrower profile

Bolt down new load cells

Keep the cells loose enough that you can adjust them slightly

<p>Screw lid back on </p><p>Adjust by pushing the lid* to make sure the sides of the shell <strong>aren't touching </strong>- check all four edges</p><p><strong><em>The unit will give bad readings if the sides touch</em></strong></p><p><em>*the cells should be loose enough so you can push the lid to get movement (step 18)</em></p>
