Weigh yourself wearing your work clothes to ensure accurate calibration

Power off unit
Remove power and load bar plugs

Unscrew leads from load bar plug

Take out the lick tub and frame

Take off platform using a 17mm spanner and a 6mm Allen key.
(Some units will have a 17mm bolthead on top instead of an Allen key)
Keep nuts and bolts to the side

Unscrew cable clamps (5 screws) and mouse-proofing (2 screws)

Tape some rope/cable to the end of the load bar leads

Pull load bar leads through from the bottom
Don't pull the rope/cable through
Unscrew tops of load bars - 8mm Allen key
Cut off black box
Unscrew and remove load cells
Take bolts, spacers, and washers off load cells - keep to the side
Cut off zip ties - pull leads through the load bars and remove springs
Keep springs handy

Tape the ferrules to stop them catching
Tip: Position 2 ferrules lower for a narrower profile

Pull new leads through load bars until the black box is in the middle of the bar
Bolt down new load cells
Screw on spacers and washers
Keep the cells loose enough that you can adjust them slightly
*this is essential for step 21

Ensure the surface is clean and double sided tape the new black box to the middle of the bar
Hold down for 10 seconds

Pull the spring over the cable
Cable tie to stop movement

Screw lid back on
Adjust by pushing the lid* to make sure the sides of the shell aren't touching - check all four edges
The unit will give bad readings if the sides touch
*the cells should be loose enough so you can push the lid to get movement (step 18)

Now the cells are in the right position, unscrew lid and bolt down cells as tightly as possible
Any movement in the cells could cause the sides to touch and give bad readings

Tape ends of load bar leads to the rope/cable and pull back up through to top box
Load bar 1 has less cable
Load bar 2 has extra cable
Screw back on cable clamps and mouse proofing
Ensure the spring covers all of the exposed lead

Line the platform up with the original holes and insert bolts
Start threading the nuts on to the bolts
Be careful not to cross-thread

Bolt platform on

Re-install lick tub

Screw on new plug
LB1: Black-Grey-Yellow-Brown
LB2: Black-Grey-Yellow-Brown

Plug in to WIC2 control box and turn on

Connect to unit wifi -> Open Optiweigh app -> Unit Maintenance -> Check unit

Press Calibrate
Password is: abc123
Ensure NO WEIGHT is on the platform and press "zero"
STAND IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PLATFORM, type in your weight, press OK

Ensure it weighs you correctly after calibration
Ensure it reads '0' when you hop off

All done - move the unit back to the paddock and start getting weights again!
