The spare wheel mount on all M2 Overland options is designed to be adjustable for both overall wheel diameter and rim offset as seen in this video.

Remove the wing nut and round plate from the assembly

Place the spare wheel on the tray and adjust the height of the bracket so the threaded pin is dead centre of the rim. Ensuring the weight of the tyre is supported by the deck.

You can adjust the depth of the threaded rod by loosening the locking nut behind the mount. Ensure this is securely tightened once the depth is correct. This is to allow a padlock to be used for security.

Correct fitment should see the wheel sidewall contacting the headboard and the weight of the wheel supported by the deck.
