This is the newly launched Refugee Malaysia website where you will be able to find information on services available to refugees and asylum seekers.

To go to the website, key in www.

refugee-malaysia.org in the web browser to load the web page.

This page will appear on the screen. This new website is for all refugees and asylum seekers in Malaysia.

To access the website, you will need a smartphone, tablet or computer, and access to the internet.

The website allows all persons of concern to access updated and reliable information without having to travel all the way to UNHCR Malaysia's office.

If you click on 'Get Support', you will find information on different services available to refugees and asylum seekers.

Please click on each section to access the information you need.

UNHCR will continue to update the website with new and current information.

Please do visit the website regularly for updated information.

Information on the website includes The location of community learning centres for your children Information on health services How to update your contact details and personal information How to register with UNHCR How to register your child's birth Information on returning home or going elsewhere If you have not registered with UNHCR, you can request for an appointment to register as an asylum seeker by filling in the online contact form on the website.

Only apply to register with UNHCR if you had to leave your country and cannot return because of war, violence or very serious violations to your human rights because of your race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership of a particular group.

And if you cannot or are afraid to return because you will not be able to find protection there, if you click on the 'Contact Us' tab, the contact form will appear.

If you click on 'Notices', you will find important updates.

Always remember that all UNHCR services are free.
