Turn Off Pressure Tank Fill Valves:

Locate the pressure tank fill valves on top of the pressure tanks and turn them off. (80-NRV-03 & 80-NRV-04)

Release Pressurised Air from System:

Turn the red dump valve attached to the side of the regulator. It will take approximately 2 minutes for all the air to be expelled.

Note: This process is noisy, ensure hearing protection is worn by all persons in the area.

Open Pneumatic Dump Valves:

Open the dump valves by manually actuating the appropriate pneumatic switches (80-HS-05 & 80-HS-06) within the cabinet located on south side of machine (SVB1)

NOTE: After these valves have been actuated the pneumatic system can be locked and tagged out

Set Product Drain Valves:

Set the drain valves in order as shown.

Note: Ensure protective overalls, goggles, face mask and gauntlet gloves are worn for this process.

Open Dump Valves Using Key:

Insert the key into a switch located under pneumatic cabinet. Turn it two notches to actuate the valve on the bottom of each respective pressure tank and allow the glue to flow out to the drain.

Note: Ensure nobody is in the vicinity of the drain valves during this step

Open Pressure Tanks For Cleaning/Maintenance:

Now that the pressure has been released and the dump valves have been opened, the pressure tank tops can be removed.
