


Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Gloves and Safety Glasses. If you don’t already have a pair of gloves or safety glasses, please see the store person.

QA Sheet. You will find a QA sheet at the machine, if there is no QA sheet there, see the team leader or production. A QA sheet will need to be completed at the start, throughout and, at the end of the day.
Turn the switch to Manual and turn the other switch to Maintenance.

Hook up the wheel so it doesnt get damaged.
Run out as much of the remaining material as you can, then using the angle grinder cut the material into pieces so you can grab and remove it.
Press the ellow Forward button, jog the last bit of material through so you can grab and remove it.
Loosen the bolts on the torque.

Take note of this line, when moving the torque this is where you'll need to put it back too.

Move the torque down.

Make sure the gap on the de-coiler is facing up, so you can remove the red corners and sling later.

Loosen the brake by spinning it to the left.
Retract the de-coiler.

Hook the counter wheel up so it doesnt get damaged.

Lift the cage up and place the cover in the cage.
Loosen the bolts on the roll formers.
Place the forklift jib on the tines.

Make sure to attach the chain and lock it on.
Place the red corners and sling around the coil.
Place your red corners and sling around the coil.

make sure to cut the metal strap before bringing it over to the de-coiler.

Make sure that the red corners and strap is centered and make sure that the coil unwind direction is facing the right way.
Carefully lift the coil up out of the coil rack and bring it to the de-coiler.
Carefully place the coil over the de-coiler, make sure it is flush with the back stop.
Expand the de-coiler.
Bring the tines down.
Remove your red corners and sling.
Expand the de-coiler.
Unhook the chain and put the forklift jib down.
Spin the coil so the end faces the machine.

Mark out the end of the coil with a marker and cut out the same shape as the template.
Feed the coil into the machine.

Take note of the cover as it says how wide the roll formers should be apart.

Measure the width.

Using the foot pedal at the back of the machine, jog the coil through the machine.
Tighten the bolts on the roll formers.
Jog the coil through.
Slowly jog the coil through and take note of the grooves in the coil.
Using the angle grinder cut off the end where there are no groves.

Cut the end of the coil into this shape to help it through the guillotine.
carefully guide the coil into the guillotine.
Pressing the Jog button, slowly jog the coil through the guillotine.
Once the coil is through, press the Black cut button to cut the coil.

Move the torque back to the line.
Tighten the bolts on the torque.
Mark the part of coil closest to the torque after it has been tightened.
Cut the coil once the marked part has passed through the guillotine.
Turn the console back to Auto and Normal.

Run out three parts and check if it is twisted. If it is, you'll need to adjust the torque.
Loosen the bolts.
Move the torque clockwise.[5mm approx]
Tighten the bolts and repeat the process until the track is straight.
