Repair an ANKA Large Hose Nozzle

<p>Switch off water at hose source. Check clamp for leaks, tighten if nessesary. Open hose nozzle to release excess water.</p>

<p>Loosen the clamp to release the nozzle.</p>

<p>Using two pliers, unscrew the base of the hose from the nozzle.</p>

<p>Using a screwdriver, remove hose nozzle cap.</p>

Hold the bolt inside the hose nozzle still using a socket. Simultaneously, remove the nozzle screw with a large Phillips head screwdriver.

<p>Inspect all nozzle components, clean with water and rag. Replace component found in ANKA large hose kit, and  heavily damaged parts causing leaks.</p>

<p>Replace O ring if damaged or missing.</p>

Grease nozzle threads with a pea sized amount, then screw nozzle head back together.

Put nozzle back together. With the nozzle in the open position, hold the nut inside the number 10 socket, and carefully tighten it back on the screw.

<p>Replace ANKA nozzle cap.</p>

<p>Reattach repaired nozzle to hose pipe connector.</p>

<p>Fit hose back into the pipe and tighten clamp.</p>
