Unplug the number plate light from the loom. 

Cut the plug from the loom and strip the wires back. 

Twist the wires and solder splice the white and black factory wire to the white wire on the number plate light.

Heat the solder splice up.

Solder splice the green and brown wire together. 

Cover the splices with electrical tape and cable tie securely to the tray.
