<p><strong>Foot Controls</strong></p><p>The foot pedals are responsible for controlling the bead breaker, turntable, clamps, and tilt arm. </p>

<p><strong>Turntable</strong></p><p>The turntable holds the clamps and is what turns when spinning the rim to take the tyre off.&nbsp;</p><p>The turntable is operated by one of the foot pedals</p><p></p>

<p><strong>Clamps</strong></p><p>The clamps are responsible for holding the rim tightly to the machine</p><p>The clamps are operated by one of the foot pedals</p><p>To adjust the clamps, pull out the pin located beneath the turntable. Push the pin down and then in to expand the clamps, or pull it back to reduce their size. Making it bigger means that you are able to fix up to a 24 inch rim, while making it smaller means that you are able to do rims down to 10 inch.</p><blockquote><p>Make sure that the pin is fully seated before operating the machine.</p></blockquote><p></p>

Clamps

The clamps are responsible for holding the rim tightly to the machine

The clamps are operated by one of the foot pedals

To adjust the clamps, pull out the pin located beneath the turntable. Push the pin down and then in to expand the clamps, or pull it back to reduce their size. Making it bigger means that you are able to fix up to a 24 inch rim, while making it smaller means that you are able to do rims down to 10 inch.

Make sure that the pin is fully seated before operating the machine.

<p><strong>Bead Breaker</strong></p><p>The bead breaker is responsible for breaking the bead of the tyre, off the rim.&nbsp;</p><p>The bead breaker is operated by one of the foot pedals</p><p>The bead breaker is able to be adjusted by pulling the pins on the top, up, and then sliding the arm out.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Locking Slide</strong></p><p>The locking slide is responsible for fixing the position of the machine head</p><p>Slide the red slide towards yourself to release the machine head arms. </p><p>Then, once you have positioned the machine head, slide it forward to fix it in place.</p>

<p><strong>Inflation System</strong></p><p>The inflation system uses the built in air tank to allow you to inflate a tyre.</p><p>Step on the foot pedal to operate the air. Only press the pedal halfway down to operate the air hose and release when the desired pressure is released.&nbsp;</p><p>Press the foot pedal completely down to operate the bead blaster.&nbsp;</p><p>The little gold button is for releasing air while the hose is connected. Press this in to release air. </p>

Inflation System

The inflation system uses the built in air tank to allow you to inflate a tyre.

Step on the foot pedal to operate the air. Only press the pedal halfway down to operate the air hose and release when the desired pressure is released. 

Press the foot pedal completely down to operate the bead blaster.

<p><strong>Left Hand Foot Pedal</strong></p><p>The left hand foot pedal controls the tilt arm.</p><p>Pressing it down brings the tilt arm forward which brings the machine head down.</p><p>Pressing the foot pedal and releasing it returns the the tilt arm back.</p>

<p><strong>Middle Left Foot Pedal&nbsp;</strong></p><p>The middle left foot pedal controls the clamps.&nbsp;</p><p>Pressing it once opens the clamps.&nbsp;</p><p>Pressing it again returns the clamps&nbsp;</p><p>Pressing it halfway while opening, locks the clamps in its current position.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>Far Right Foot Pedal</strong></p><p>The far right foot pedal controls the turntable.</p><p>Pushing the pedal down turns the table at full speed clockwise.</p><p>Pushing the pedal halfway down turns the table at half speed clockwise.</p><p>Raising the pedal spins the table in an anti-clockwise direction</p>

<p><strong>Maintenance</strong></p><p>Maintenance of the Corghi tyre machine is essential to keep the machine in an efficient and safe working order.&nbsp;</p><p>Daily you should:</p><ul><li><p>Blow the machine down with compressed air to remove any dust</p></li><li><p>Wipe any grime off the turntable</p></li></ul><p>Weekly you should:</p><ul><li><p>Wire brush or scrub the turntable</p></li><li><p>Check the protective pads on the machine head. Replace them if they are worn.&nbsp;</p></li></ul><p></p>
