Collect a Milk Sample

<p>Record the Dairy number, Date, Cow ID and Quater using a permanent marker or label printer. Write clearly on the sample tube and ziplock bag.
Use separate sample tubes per Quater.</p>

Clean the teat end with a teat wipe.

Discard the first 2-3 squirts of milk.

Step 4 of 6

Remove the lid, taking care not to touch the inside of the lid or sample tube. Hold the lid between thumb and finger.

<p>Hold the container at a 45-degree angle and fill the container with milk. Place the lid carefully onto the container to ensure no contamination and then tighten the lid for storage.</p>
