Position Rows

Line up two rows next to one another.

Important: Ensure the stage panels are all aligned in the same direction so that the panel locking mechanism will work

<h1>Adjust Corner Pieces</h1><p></p><p></p><p>On the edges where a bridge panel will be placed.</p><p></p><p>For each corner piece:</p><ul><li><p>One person lift the stage panel.</p></li><li><p>One person rotate the corner piece so that two studs are sticking out toward the gap where a bridge panel will be placed.</p></li></ul><p></p><p></p>

Adjust Corner Pieces

On the edges where a bridge panel will be placed.

For each corner piece:

  • One person lift the stage panel.

  • One person rotate the corner piece so that two studs are sticking out toward the gap where a bridge panel will be placed.

Pick Up First Bridge Panel

Lift the short side of a stage panel on the stack.

Pick up the stage panel with a forklift along the long edge.

Reverse out and drive toward the row currently being worked on.

Install First Bridge Panel

Drive down the centre of the rows.

Coordinate with ground crew to line up the stage panel.

Ground crew move the rows as necessary to line up the panel.

Lower the panel down and ensure it is locked in place.

Pick Up Bridge Panel

Lift the short side of a stage panel on the stack.

Pick up the stage panel with a forklift along the long edge.

Reverse out and drive toward the row currently being worked on.

Install Bridge Panel

Four ground crew wait underneath the stage frames, two on either side.

Drive the panel down the centre of the rows. Stopping just in front of the last panel placed.

Ground crew move panel into position and direct forklift driver when to lower.

CAUTION: This is a high risk task. Forklift is operating in close proximity to worker. Maintain awareness of forklift at all times. Forklift driver, DRIVE SLOW.

Tighten Locks

Tighten locks on stage panel to ensure panels are locked together.

There are FOUR locks that need to be tightened. Two on the long edge, and one per short edge.

Note: If the panels are rotated incorrectly (panel lock holes are next to each other), the panels will not be able to lock, you will need to disassemble the bridges and rotate the stage.

Pro Tip: Verifying Locks

When the stage panels are locked together correctly the gap between them will disappear.

Repeat

Repeat the process until all panels are filled in for the stage

Position Stage

All hands on deck to rotate and position stage.

Listen to direction.

Use your voice and SHOUT out STOP if the stage is about to hit something.
