Bolt the mount to the guard using stainless steel M8x20 button heads with a washer on the outside, a nyloc and anti seize.

Fasten the mounts to the guard through the top set of holes on the guard. 

Lift the guard up underneath the tray above the tire and bolt to the tray using zinc M8x25 hex bolts with a washer on each side and nylocs. 

Have the hex bolts facing down towards the guard.

Loosen the bolts holding the guard to the mounts and adjust your guard until the mudflap lines up with the tyre. 

Ensure that the guard is also centered to the rim and is not touching the PHEV or fuel filler box. 

Once in place, fasten the bolts.

Complete on the same processes on the other side and your BYD guards are now installed.
