<p>42.3 - Racking Out the CB</p><p></p><p>1. Open the cubicle access door.</p><p>2. Confirm CB is open.</p><p>3. Insert the racking handle into the racking mechanism as shown.</p><p>4. Rotate the racking handle ACW to position 2 and withdraw the CB to the stop position.</p><p></p><p></p>

4. Rotate the racking handle ACW to position 2 and withdraw the CB to the stop position.

Rotate the shutter operating mechanism CW to the closed position.</p><p>7. Remove the LV auxiliary plug.</p><p>8. Replace the racking handle back into the CB racking mechanism.</p><p>9. Rotate the racking handle ACW to position 1 and withdraw the CB from the CB cubicle.</p>

42.3 - Racking Out the CB

5. Remove the racking handle and insert into the shutter operating mechanism as shown.

6. Rotate the shutter operating mechanism CW to the closed position.

7. Remove the LV auxiliary plug.

8. Replace the racking handle back into the CB racking mechanism.

9. Rotate the racking handle ACW to position 1 and withdraw the CB from the CB cubicle.

5. Remove the racking handle and insert into the shutter operating mechanism as shown.

7. Remove the LV auxiliary plug.

8. Replace the racking handle back into the CB racking mechanism.

9. Rotate the racking handle ACW to position 1 and withdraw the CB from the CB cubicle.

<p>42.4 - Locking the Cable / Bus shutters</p><p></p><p>1. Place locks on shutters opposite to what is being earthed. In this case we are earthing the No.3 bus so place locks on the No.2 bus shutters as shown.</p><p>2. To disable the opening of the No.2 bus and allow the No.3 bus shutters to open for earthing, remove the shutter operating mechanism pins – two (2) of from the No.2 Bus Shutters. (Opposite from what will be Earthed)</p><p>3. The No.3 Bus Shutters can now be opened via the external handle and earth truck installed.</p><p>Note: Ensure the correct identification of shutters prior to locking and/or removal of operating mechanism pins.</p><p></p>

42.4 - Locking the Cable / Bus shutters

1. Place locks on shutters opposite to what is being earthed. In this case we are earthing the No.3 bus so place locks on the No.2 bus shutters as shown.

2. To disable the opening of the No.2 bus and allow the No.3 bus shutters to open for earthing, remove the shutter operating mechanism pins – two (2) of from the No.2 Bus Shutters. (Opposite from what will be Earthed)

3. The No.3 Bus Shutters can now be opened via the external handle and earth truck installed.

Note: Ensure the correct identification of shutters prior to locking and/or removal of operating mechanism pins.
