Begin by using M4x12 countersunk stainless steel bolts, nylocs and antiseize to fasten a latch and hook to each side of the jerry can holder. Ensure a M5 stainless nyloc is fastened to the threaded hook on the latch.

Only continue with these steps if you have been instructed to do so. Use x2 M8x20 stainless steel button heads, spring washers, flat washers and loctite to fasten the bottom of the holder. Ensure it is square and flush with the bottom of the canopy. Mark holes using a 9mm drill.

Remove jerry can and drill pilot holes. Next, drill with an 11mm drill bit. Debur the inside and outside of the hole like so. You will need x2 zinc M8 closed end rivuts (1929508411). Ensure they are the correct rivnuts.

Rivnut the holes you have drilled. Place jerry can holder back up and fasten using M8x20 stainless steel button heads, spring washers, flat washers and loctite.
