After a name is sustained in high council, the high councilor assigned to the ward / branch presents the name of the individual for sustaining in sacrament meeting.

After sustained in sacrament meeting without any opposition, the high councilor oversees the ordination of the individual.

The high councilor reports to the stake clerk once the ordination is complete. If the person who ordains the individual is not the person's father or a member of the stake, note the ordainer's record number (000-0000-0000) on his temple recommend. It is needed to record the event.
