Reel Lifter Operating Procedure

Procedure for lifting, transporting and tilting paper valve reels

Step 1 of 7

Turn the key on the control panel clockwise to the 'ON' position

Step 2 of 7

Ensure the total weight of the reels to be lifted does not exceed 200kg. The weight of the reels can be located on the shipping label.

Step 3 of 7

Align lifter spindle with paper reel core. Press the yellow 'DOWN' button to lower grab assembly onto reel(s).

Step 4 of 7

Press the black 'GRIP' button until the grab claws fully close and grip the reel(s). Use the green 'UP' button to lift the reels from the reel stack.

Step 5 of 7

Move lifter to a clear area then press the blue 'TIP' button to rotate the reel to a vertical position. Lower the reel to the floor by pressing the yellow 'DOWN' button.

Step 6 of 7

Press the two 'Release' buttons simultaneously to release the reel from the grab claws. Move lifter clear of reels

Step 7 of 7

Raise the grab assembly clear of floor using the green 'UP' button. Press the white 'RETURN' button to return the grab to the home (horizontal) position when lifting operation is complete.
