


Each Forklift and Reach trucks should have a pre-start checklist. Needs to be signed and done daiIy (forkIift) weekIy (reach) to ensure machine is safe to use.
NOTE: Turn the gas vaIve off at the end of each day when you are done using the forkIift
Operators:
When entering doors, blow your horn and drive in a safe speed inside. Check left and right sides for pedestrians.
Operators and Pedestrians:
Operators - Drive on a safe speed when maneuvering on tight corners and high traffic areas like the area between fabrication and dispatch. Alert pedestrians by blowing your horn and using your voice or using hand signals if horn is not enough.
Pedestrians - Stop once a forklift/reach truck is operating. Make eye to eye contact with the operator to let them know that you need to pass or use your voice to alert them. Only proceed once the operator give you a go signal to pass.

When exiting via Fab Bay, please be mindful of the WH safety belts and ensure walkway is clear of forklift/reach truck before proceeding.
Do not waIk into forkIift zone whiIe Iooking/taIking on your phone.
Put away your phone. Stay present and aIert at aII times!

Use gray painted walkway at all times.
This is also a forklift/reach truck operation zone so be careful when passing.

Do not take a short cut through dispatch area. Forklift and Reach truck operates in this zone.
When exiting the production line using the PC booth access, be careful in the main door as Forklift operates in this area. Check surroundings and only proceed if it is safe to do so.
Ensure yellow safety gates are closed at all times.
If you need to go through the Warehouse area, please be mindful of the Reach trucks that might be operating on the isles. Check left and right and between isles, stop when a reach truck is operating.
If you are not a WH or NZ Dispatch team member, you need to be accompanied by a WH team member to go through the WH area. Only proceed if it is safe to do so.
Operating in the Dispatch Area:
Operators must horn before backing up and when approaching to lift a crate or a pallet. Ensure surroundings is clear of pedestrians.
Operating in the Warehouse Area:
When approaching, the forks must be at the back and operator is facing the front as shown. Reach operators must horn when going through the isles. Lift the safety belts back up before operating.

Operators: When working at the corner of the bay near the walkway, ensure safety belts for the bay that you are working on is up and the safety belt of the opposite bay is up across the other bay as shown.
Pedestrians: Ensure that you are 2 bays away from the reach truck when operating in the corner of the bay. If it is operating at the end of the bay, stop and ensure you are at least 2 bays away from the reach. Only proceed if it is safe to do so.
