<h1>Roles (Two Person Job)</h1><p></p><p>Removing handrails is a <strong>two person job</strong>.</p><p></p><ul><li><p>One on Floor</p></li><li><p>One on Stage</p></li></ul><p>The floor person unpins, lowers and places the handrail back in the stillage.</p><p></p><p>The stage person holds the handrail as it is unpinned and passes it to the person on the ground.</p><p></p><p><strong>Important: NEVER remove the handrail by yourself.</strong></p>

Removing handrails is a two person job.

  • One on Floor

  • One on Stage

The floor person unpins, lowers and places the handrail back in the stillage.

The stage person holds the handrail as it is unpinned and passes it to the person on the ground.

Important: NEVER remove the handrail by yourself.

<h1>Hold Handrail</h1><p></p><p><strong>Important: The person on the stage&nbsp;needs to hold the weight of the handrail.</strong></p><p></p><p>Once the pins come out, the handrail is unsecured and will fall.</p>

Remove Hitch Pin and R-Clip

Whilst the person on the stage is holding the handrail, remove the R-Clip and Hitch Pin.

Lower the Handrail

Safely lower the handrail to the ground.

Flip the Handrail

Roll the handrail over so it is upside down.

Place on Stillage

With the open end of the hook facing toward you, pick up the handrail and place it on the stillage.

Be sure to alternate the position of each hook on the stillage (see next step).

Pro Tip: Alternate Positioning

Alternate the side of the hook with each additional handrail added.
