  1. Open tools/Administration/Vault settings

  2. Click on Standard Inventor File Release Process

  3. Click on edit

  1. Click on the stage you want to edit

  2. Most actions happen within a transition, like from work in progress - to released

  3. click edit if you want to check or change anything

  1. Check Actions, for basic functions

  2. Check custom job types, to check the export job that runs on the Job Proccessor

  3. You can also set security, but that is maintained at the level above.

  1. Looking at another step, Released to work in progress does very minimal steps

  2. This means it's fast

  3. So it just bumps the vault revision, and Inventor does the heavy lifting once the file is open
